Pictorialist Photography of Anne Brigman

Join us as we host local photographer Christine Lorenz as she presents the “Pictorialist Photography of Anne Brigman”.

Anne Brigman was a pioneer in the Pictorialist movement, which is an important part of the Pittsburgh Photography Club’s legacy.  In 1904, the Carnegie Institute held a one person exhibition of her work.  During this era, the Carnegie Institute was hosting your club’s Pittsburgh International Salon of Photographic Art.
