This week we welcome the great friend of our club, Christine Lorenz. She will present to us the works of Anne Brigman, a ground breaking photographer of the Photo-Secession movement. If you want to prepare, this YouTube video is a good start.
Don’t forget to bring in your prints for the upcoming Pittsburgh Salon of Photographic Art, this week and next week’s presentation by Jennifer Dillaman will be your last opportunities.
So far we have sixteen poems from nine poets in the line up for the Ekphrastic Event at the salon. Almost every photographer who submitted had images chosen so far. and we’re working closely with the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective to ensure that no one gets left out.
