Tribute Gallery in Memory of Chuck and Marian Hissem
Chuck and Marian Hissem were members of the Photo Section from the 1940’s until
their deaths in the mid 1990’s. Both were slide makers and were consistent winners in
club competitions as well as salons. They were members of the Photographic Society of
America and regularly attended the Annual Conference of the New England Camera Club
Council held at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst Campus. Marian and Chuck worked
countless hours for the Pittsburgh International Print and Slide Salon as well as other
club activities and presented slide shows with pictures of their extensive travels.
Marian is remembered for her many hats and always had a new joke to tell at every meeting.
