Club Projects
Capturing Pittsburgh in Poetry & Photography
A collaboration with the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective. The poets have created a collection of poems and our members are creating photographs inspired by these poems. We will be submitting these to the PIT Art in The Airport program.
We are the sponsoring club for this regional multi-club competition. Entries will be featured in the 110th Pittsburgh Salon of Photographic Art (2025)

We enjoyed our collaboration with the Pittsburgh Poetry Collection at the 109th Pittsburgh Salon of Photographic Art (2024) so much that we put it into a book.

Founded in 1934, the first convention was held here in Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Photography Club (as the Photographic Section of the Academy of Science and Art of Pittsburgh) is a charter member.
