Competition Night Awards
- Competition night awards are in the form of certificates
- Separate sets of awards are given to Group A and Group B members
- Separate sets of awards are not given for color and mono images. Both types of images are equally eligible for all awards
- Images in the highest 20% to 30% range of scores in each competition group are accepted for year-end judging and are awarded certificates
- The highest scoring image in each class and any images with the same score will be given a Certificate of Excellence. The rest of the accepted images will be given a Certificate of Merit.
Year-end Awards
- Three judges, who are not club members, select the images for year-end awards from the accepted images
- Club members are not present at the year-end judging
- Awards are announced and presented at the annual year-end banquet
- Separate sets of awards are given to Group A and Group B members
- Separate sets of awards are not given for color and mono images. Both types of images are equally eligible for all year-end awards
- Gold, silver, and bronze medals plus certificates are presented to the first, second, and third place winners in both classes.
- Honorable Mention winners are given certificates.
