The Pittsburgh Photography Club and the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective are collaborating to create a project that we can enter as a proposal for the PIT Art in the Airport Program. For this project, the poets have created a collection of poems and it is up to us, the photographers, to provide images inspired by the poetry. Ultimately the photographs will be chosen by the poet, so you may submit multiple photographs for each poem that inspires you.
To participate, you must be a member of either the Pittsburgh Photography Club or the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective.
Follow these steps to enter your photographs:
- Download the instruction document.
- Click on the Google Drive link to access the drive.
- Read the poems, either in each folder, or download the document that contains all the poems.
- Identify the ones that inspire you.
- Upload your photographs to the folder on the Google Drive that corresponds to the poem or poems that inspired you. Please ensure your name is part of the filename.
- Add your name and email address to the Google Sheets document titled ‘Contacts’
