Architecture Photography workshop with Jim Andrews.

The workshop involves photography at two locations, one being an old building in a pastoral setting, and the other a more modern structure in an urban setting. The purpose is to show the different challenges in architectural photography between the two.
The workshop is in Greensburg, carpooling is suggested. The meeting location will be provided upon registration.
Bring a small notebook for writing. Wide angle and normal lenses would be helpful or a zoom lens that covers this range. Tripods are optional. You can also bring you large format camera if you like.
Why Greensburg?;The idea is not to be awed by the iconic architecture in Pittsburgh – Jim wants you to learn the basic techniques of composing architecture photography on ordinary buildings. These will be skills that will enable you to produce iconic architectural images anywhere.
About your instructor:
Jim has been a professional photographer for 50 years as the proprietor of Andrews Photography. His clients have included architectural firms and commercial contractors. Jim was also an adjunct Professor at Seton Hill University for 13 years teaching Color Photography (film based) and Digital Imaging. He taught several different classes, including Architecture photography.
