August 1, 2009 - Bob Hayes is planning a day trip to Volant, PA area. Meet at the Hoss's Restaurant near the Grove City Outlets at the I-79 Grove City - exit 31. Grove City is about a one hour drive from Pittsburgh. Volant is about 15 minutes from the outlets. Bob promises to make this another fun day. Contact him at nikf4@aol.com or (412) 496-4236

August 4, 2009 - Ted Thompson is planning a group outing to the Washington Wild Things Baseball Game starting at 7:05 PM. Let Ted know by July 27th if interested heatcool1@comcast.net or 412-343-0237. Directions – The stadium is off Exit 15 (Chestnut Street/Rte. 40) of I-70 west on the west side of Washington, PA. At the end of the exit ramp bear right (east).  Turn right into Washington Crown Center (mall).  Take the ring road and turn right into the Washington Square Complex.  CONSOL Energy Park is at the top of the hill.

September 20, 2009 - Norm Schumm is planning on taking advantage of the Revolutionary War Encampment for a photo workshop at the Oliver Miller Homestead in South Park. The 8th Pennsylvania Regiment will set up camp on the grounds and re-enact the day-to-day life of the Revolutionary War soldier. Young soldiers will be recruited and drilled. There will be displays of rifles and weaponry. $2 donation. Contact Norm at mjschumm@verizon.net or (412) 531-2164. October – TBA - “Tour De Burgh!" with Tom Delegram. We will be stopping at thirteen spots around the "Burgh" to enjoy the vistas and take some cityscapes. Many scenes will have foreground interest in them in addition to the city in the background to show the unique quality of the "Burgh". Maps will be provided to keep us together.

THE DATE FOR THE SEPTEMBER 19TH OUTING  HAS BEEN CHANGED TO  SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20TH WITH TIME TBA
