 I was in Erie taking photos  of sailing ships and I noticed that the ropes on the rigging came out as dashes instead of solid lines. What is the cause of this ? Can it be corrected ? Sad

Wow thats a new one for me. Maybe you can post another message with an 800x600 sized image attached for us to see how it looks.  The info on how to make an attachment is in the Informaiton for New users section near the top of the forum.

  Okay then... My first question on this would be:  Where did you see these dashed lines?  Are we talking print, on screen, in what tool, etc?  The only time I've seen something like this is when the picture was being viewed on a small viewer, and the image was compressed way down.  Looking at it on a print, or at 100%, the dashes resolved back into lines.

Just thoughts...
